The anonymous online narcissists who attack brave voices to silence them - Could it be that these internet trolls are rendered harmless when their anonymity is eliminated? Yes, certainly. That is one of the benefits of digital ID, a benefit that the narcissists probably forgot when they came up with the idea of digital IDs.
Narcissists want to work in the protection of anonymous profiles - and they also want to control other people and subdue, coerce and silence the voices they envy. With digital ID, their options are destroyed and it becomes impossible for them to have both anonymity and control. They have to choose. THAT may be what ultimately makes digital ID optional,,, so that government trolls and vampires can roam free to criticize those who threaten the narcissists in government.
